2 x 70g pieces beef fillet steak, trimmed of fat
Freshly ground black pepper, to season
4 slices wholemeal grain bread or gluten-free bread
2 iceberg lettuce leaves, torn
1 tomato, sliced
2 Tbsp beetroot relish
Preheat a chargrill pan or barbecue grill to medium-high. Spray both sides of beef with cooking spray and season with pepper.
Add beef to chargrill. Cook for 1 minute on each side for medium, or until cooked to your liking. Set aside for 1 minute to rest.
Top 2 bread slices with lettuce and tomato slices. Add beef. Top each with 1 Tbsp of relish. Add remaining bread slices and serve.
